Michiru Takahashi has experience in intellectual property and focuses primarily on trademarks, unfair competition litigation, and trademark prosecution. She has represented clients in a variety of industries, such as cosmetics, medical devices, video games, electronics, consumer products, and entertainment. She graduated with an LLB from Kyoto University in 1985 and graduated with an LLM from Cornell University Law School in 1993. She is also a member of AIPPI, INTA, the Daini Tokyo Bar Association, and the Japan Patent Attorneys Association. In a notable case, she represented Mag Instrument in connection with a 3D trademark victory (‘Mini Mag-Lite’) at the Intellectual Property High Court.
