Leela Wignaraja, Brandsmiths

Leela is an IP Litigation Associate, specialising in copyright, designs, trade mark infringement and passing off disputes. She joined Brandsmiths as a newly qualified solicitor in 2025 and plays a key role supporting high-value disputes across a range of UK courts, including the High Court and the Court of Appeal.

She supports significant litigation including AGA v UK Innovations and multiparty IP disputes in fashion, retail, and FMCG sectors. Leela is experienced with urgent applications, procedural strategy and coordinating litigation across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions.
