Andrew Lee, Partner and Head of IP litigation, is one of the UK’s most experienced contentious IP specialists. He leads multiparty trade mark, design and copyright litigation in the High Court, IPEC, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

He has acted on some of the most important recent appellate IP cases, including Iconix v Dream Pairs and the Lifestyle Equities Supreme Court decisions, shaping the law on post-sale confusion, territorial rights and accessory liability. Andy also drove the long-running copyright dispute of Peppa Pig vs Wolfoo, securing a landmark summary judgment for Hasbro in one of the most significant international IP disputes before the English court against SConnect, the Vietnamese studio behind Wolfoo. An injunction was granted, extending across the UK, EU and 166 countries party to the relevant international copyright conventions.
