Former Starbucks counsel joins HP

The former vice president and assistant general counsel at  Starbucks has joined  HP as deputy general counsel, chief of IP.

Phyllis Turner-Brim, who announced the move on LinkedIn, will relocate to Houston, Texas.

“I am thrilled to be embarking on this new chapter, in a new place, leading a new team with a great organisation,” she added.

Turner-Brim joined Starbucks in 2016, where she led the teams supporting global supply chain, IP, technology, marketing and food safety. Prior to this, she worked at Intellectual Ventures for nearly six years.

During her career, Turner-Brim has also worked at Honeywell subsidiary Intermec Technologies and at Wal-Mart, where she served as assistant general counsel.
