Rebecca Field

Rebecca Field is a UK trademark and fashion IP practitioner with strong thought leadership visibility, particularly through her Fashionably IP podcast and engagement with major fashion IP case law.

With almost two decades of experience in trademark law, she advises clients on brand protection, trademark prosecution, enforcement, portfolio management, and design rights across multiple jurisdictions.

Field has extensive experience managing trademark portfolios for leading international brands and advising on filing, opposition, revocation, invalidity, and enforcement matters before the UK Intellectual Property Office, EU Intellectual Property Office, the World Intellectual Property Organization, and IP offices worldwide. 

One of the notable achievements early in her career was the registration of the Christian Louboutin red sole trademark while at Pinsent Masons. 

Field is a prominent contributor to thought leadership within the profession. As well as co-hosting the Fashionably IP podcast, which has become a respected platform for discussions on intellectual property and fashion law, she is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Trademark Attorneys, and has authored numerous articles on IP law. 

At HGF, Field has built and developed an all-women trademark attorney team, mentoring junior professionals through qualification and supporting their progression to director and partner level. Her leadership has contributed to creating opportunities for the next generation of female IP practitioners.
