Her thought leadership includes contributions to legal and technical scholarship on AI and IP, such as AI in Augmented Reality and Entertainment in the American Bar Association (ABA) publication Law of Artificial Intelligence and Smart Machines (2019), and frequent speaking engagements for organisations including the ABA and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
Maisel is active in several professional organisations, including the ABA, (where she serves as vice chair of the Emerging Technologies Committee), the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI).
