Baker Botts adds special counsel in London
Law firm Baker Botts has hired Clive Thorne as a special counsel in the firm’s intellectual property department in London.
Thorne joins from law firm Wedlake Bell, where he worked as a partner in the IP and commercial team.
He has experience in patents, designs, copyright, trademarks and passing off, trade secrets and breaches of confidence.
Thorne is also a founding member of the Intellectual Property Lawyers Organisation.
Mark Rowley, partner-in-charge of the firm’s London office, said: “Clive is a great addition to our London practice and I am excited about the prospect of working with such a talented senior litigator.”
