Taylor Wessing hires ‘exciting’ addition to international practice

New hire’s expertise spans creative industries, including media, consumer, retail and technology | He leaves Lewis Silkin after 22 years to take up the new role.

Taylor Wessing has appointed Giles Crown as a partner in its international IP practice.

Crown joins the firm this month from Lewis Silkin, where he advised clients across all aspects of IP, media and regulatory law.

He specialises in advertising and marketing, entertainment and media, privacy and data protection, consumer and regulatory and, defamation and reputation management work.

His expertise and client base spans many different sectors, including the creative industries, media, consumer, retail and technology.

Crown follows the recent announcement of the firm’s new hires in the Middle East and the UK, namely Munir Suboh, and Anneka Dalton, who joined its Dubai and London offices respectively.
