  • Enterprise v Europcar International, TTAB Opposition No. 91238701. Hogan Lovells represents Europcar after a rival company opposed its application to register its ‘E’ design mark in the US, based on claims of a likelihood of confusion with its own ‘E’ marks. The opposition is now in the discovery phases, with fact depositions ongoing.
  • The firm acted as counsel to seven leading automakers—BMW, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, and Stellantis—on the creation of joint venture IONNA. Hogan Lovells manages the global trademark portfolio for the JV, and recently assisted with Toyota’s joining.
  • Hogan Lovells works with client Spin Master to prevent counterfeit Paw Patrol products from entering the US. The team includes Anna Kurian Shaw and Katherine Bastian.
