Vicki Salmon, Impact IP

Overview:

A peer describes Vicki Salmon as having “expertise in helping to negotiate and draft complex intellectual property licence agreements”. Originally a biochemist by training, Salmon is known as one of a handful of dual qualified solicitors and patent attorneys in the UK. She has over 30 years’ experience of working in the IP field and is currently chair of the Internal Governance Committee Council of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys. Other committees she has previously chaired for the institute include the Litigation and Education Committees.

Salmon supports her clients, their staff, as well as the students at UCL and Queen Mary College London in fostering an understanding of IP rights. Salmon has contributed to practitioner textbooks such as the CIPA Guide to the Patents Act.
