Graham Burnett-Hall, Shoosmiths

Overview:

Solicitor advocate Graham Burnett-Hall is well-known for his multi-jurisdictional work in all areas of technology, particularly in pharmaceutical and biotechnology patent disputes. Burnett-Hall joined Shoosmiths in spring of 2024 from Marks & Clerk where he had been a partner for 20 years.

He studied chemistry before training as a lawyer and is a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Burnett-Hall’s scientific background is considered an asset to his clients and their research and development teams, both in and outside the courts.

He has been involved in notable cases in the Patents Court such as a multinational patent dispute concerning RSV vaccines based on the RSV perfusion F-protein. A peer who has worked with Burnett-Hall on national litigation comments: “He has a very good technical understanding and is a good strategist. I definitely can recommend working with him.”
