China Patent Agent (HK)
Firm overview:
With a claim to being one of China’s three earliest-established patent and trademark firms, China Patent Agent (HK) has expanded from its 1984 founding in Hong Kong into a large, prestigious law firm.
CPA’s trademark prosecution practice has a reputation for excellence. It is divided into specialised units that focus on prosecution for foreign/mainland Chinese applicants, as well as applications in Hong Kong and Macao. These teams advise clients on the full range of brand protection matters, from prosecution to devising portfolio strategies and dispute resolution.
The firm also fields a highly-regarded team of litigators, who serve clients ranging from startups to global conglomerates when contentious matters arise. The team has won numerous disputes at the Supreme People’s Court and handled landmark IP cases selected by the courts as exemplary litigation.
