Operating from Shanghai, legacy Allen & Overy partner Jill Ge covers the full spectrum of IP litigation and transactions relating to China. Ge’s experience comprises contentious trademarks, as well as patents and trade secrets matters, involving multinationals and cross-border disputes.
Ge has a technical background in physics and materials engineering. She studied law and trained in the US and is qualified in the US and China (non-practising). Her international IP perspective and collaboration with the firm’s global IP team is an asset in supporting the Chinese companies involved in overseas disputes.

- Jill Ge represented a Fortune 500 manufacturing company in its defence against trademark infringement and cancellation claims brought by a local PRC company.
- Jill Ge represented TE Connectivity in defending a US$15 million trademark infringement claim brought by a local Chinese company and multiple concurrent trademark invalidation proceedings.
