Jones Day
Firm overview:
Jones Day operates in China through offices in Beijing and Shanghai, providing a full range of intellectual property and cross-border legal services. The firm says the foundation for its success in the region is the fact that most of its attorneys are locally educated, “home-grown talent”.
The firm’s IP agency in Beijing is licensed to handle non-patent IP matters. Working in collaboration with the agency are Jones Day lawyers in Shanghai with extensive biotechnology experience, handling patent prosecution, invalidity actions and cross-border IP litigation.
Jones Day earns its place in the rankings among the top international firms in China for its premium patent matters, advisory work in joint projects between US and Chinese biotech companies, and dispute resolution/litigation expertise.
