LES elects president
The Licensing Executives Society (LES) has elected Jeffrey Whittle as its president.
Whittle, who is also a partner at law firm Hogan Lovells, was formally inducted during LES’s an anniversary celebration during the organisation’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, October 27.
In his role as president, he said he plans to strengthen IP and licensing, grow LES’s membership, and creating industry standards for IP and technology transfer.
Whittle said: “To accomplish our goals, we are streamlining the LES board to focus more on strategic initiatives, enhancing the LES technology platform including the website, and strengthening the internal management procedures and roles for the organisation.”
