Former Denton’s partner joins Brodies

The firm has added an IP and innovation expert to its commercial services practice.

Brodies has announced the addition of Alison Bryce as partner to its commercial services practice.

Bryce makes the move after almost six years as partner at Dentons.

Neil Burgess, head of corporate and commercial at Brodies, said: “Alison's appointment adds considerable strength to our existing commercial services practice. Our clients will benefit from her extensive knowledge.

“Alison's expertise in innovation and intellectual property will complement the work of our wider practice in areas such as life sciences and high growth companies.”

With two decades of experience, Bryce’s expertise lies in commercial contracts and in IP and innovation. She has advised on IP, information technology, data and commercial matters.

Bryce’s commercial contracts cover trademark and patent licensing, collaboration arrangements, general technology agreements and payment services.

Specifically, she has sector experience in food and drink, fintech, and green energy, handling clients across Scotland, the UK and internationally.

The firm has also added other former Denton’s employees, Ally Burr and Rebecca Ronney, as associates to its commercial services practice in Inverness and Glasgow.

“In line with our strategic plans, the appointments of Ally and Rebecca mean we are also able to provide enhanced commercial services expertise in more of our office locations. We look forward to their contributions.” said Burgess.
