Sidley Austin hires partner in Los Angeles

Law firm Sidley Austin has hired Russell Weiss as a partner in the firm’s technology and intellectual property transactions practice, and media and entertainment industry group, in Los Angles.

Weiss has experience in fair use, infringement actions, and unfair competition.

He joins from law firm Morrison & Foerster.

He often represents clients in the motion picture, television, mobile, music, and multimedia industries.
