Robins Kaplan hires IP litigators
Robins Kaplan has expanded its Boston office with the addition of Stephen Wald as a partner in the firm’s business litigation practice group.
Wald has obtained multimillion-dollar verdicts for his clients in disputes focusing on IP, telecoms, real estate, employment and environmental law.
He has represented the maker of the Swiss Army knife, Victorinox, in a dispute over its worldwide IP rights.
Lauren Coppola, a litigator with a focus on telecoms and technology disputes, has also joined the firm’s business litigation practice group as a partner. She previously obtained a settlement for one of the world’s largest conference calling companies in a licence dispute concerning complex IP.
Tony Froio, managing partner of the firm’s Boston office and a member of the executive board, said: “They are incredibly accomplished trial lawyers with deep roots and relationships within the Boston community and beyond that will serve our clients well.”
Wald and Coppola join Robins Kaplan from Partridge Snow & Hahn.
