Mewburn Ellis appoints partner and expands Munich office

Mewburn Ellis has appointed Paul Dunne, a patent attorney in the firm’s Bristol office, as partner.

Dunne, who focuses his practice on chemistry and materials, has particular expertise in the industrial chemistry, nanotech and pharmaceutical sectors.

Patrick Stoner, partner in the Mewburn Ellis Bristol office, said: “Paul has become an invaluable member of the Mewburn Ellis team since joining us in 2010 and we are delighted to have him now in a partnership position.”

In addition, the firm’s Munich office will move into larger premises at the start of May to accommodate further growth. Mewburn Ellis opened its Munich office in November 2017.

Christoph Moeller, Munich partner, added: “This office move, necessary in our first year of being on the ground in Munich, represents us starting to deliver against that ambition. Our new premises will enable us to further grow our rapidly-expanding patent and trademark practices.”
