McCarter & English hires patent litigator from McDermott
McCarter & English has boosted its IP practice group with the addition of a former McDermott Will and Emery patent litigator.
Leigh Martinson joins the firm’s Boston office, where he will focus on complex patent disputes involving electronics, computer software and hardware, optics and medical devices.
He also counsels emerging and Fortune 500 companies in patent portfolio procurement, development and management.
“Having worked with Leigh in the past, I am thrilled he has joined McCarter’s team of tech lawyers,” said Elizabeth Hanley, leader of the IP group.
She added: “Besides trial and appellate experience, Leigh gives our clients excellent representation from patent prosecution and deal diligence to helping clients monetise their IP portfolios.”
