Harrity & Harrity rehires PTAB judge

A former administrative patent judge at the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has returned to Harrity & Harrity as counsel.

Joseph Lentivech, who joins Harrity’s patent application drafting team, was a patent attorney at the firm until late 2014 when he joined the USPTO.

John Harrity, Harrity & Harrity managing partner, said: “Joe brings highly valuable experience and insights through his recent work as a USPTO administrative patent judge that will greatly benefit our clients.”

Lentivech will focus his practice on drafting patent applications for technology companies and overseeing all Patent Trial and Appeal Board appeals at the firm.

Prior to his law career, Lentivech served with the US Marine Corp, most recently as a captain/artillery officer.
