Duane Morris opens Austin office, hires Norton Rose partner
Duane Morris has opened an office in Austin, Texas, and hired Bert Greene as an IP partner and Brad Thompson as an energy sector partner.
The Austin office is the firm’s 21st in the US.
Greene, who joins from Norton Rose Fulbright, focuses his practice on the enforcement and procurement of IP rights, with an emphasis on patent litigation.
He has represented patent owners and accused infringers in numerous jurisdictions across the US, as well as in inter partes reviews before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Greene’s clients include technology and e-commerce companies and retailers.
He also has experience in handling copyright, trademark and trade secret litigation.
