DLA Piper promotes four IP partners

DLA Piper has promoted four IP lawyers to partner in a wider promotion of 46 new partners throughout 12 countries.

Patrick Mitchell, Richard Cruz, Amanda Pilkington and John Nading have all been promoted.

Mitchell is based in London and focuses his practice on media and sport. He has experience in advising sporting authorities on the exploitation of media and sponsorship rights.

Cruz, based in Philadelphia, specialises in patent litigation and copyright and trademark preparation and prosecution.

Also based in the US, in the firm’s Washington DC, office, is Nading, who focuses his practice on trademarks, unfair competition, copyright and domain names.

Pilkington, who is based in Sheffield, UK, advises private and public sector companies on a wide range of sourcing and IT issues, focusing her practice on IP and technology matters.
