DLA Piper boosts Silicon Valley team

DLA Piper has hired two founding members of Feinberg Day Alberti & Thompson, a boutique patent litigation firm.

Clayton Thompson and Yakov Zolotorev have rejoined the firm and will serve as IP partners in Northern California.

Both represent clients in IP disputes involving complex computer and electronic technologies.

Thompson also counsels technology companies on IP licensing and contract matters.

Zolotorev focuses his practice on a range of software and hardware technologies, including computer architecture, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing.

Mark Fowler, global co-chair and US chair of the firm’s patent litigation practice, said: “Their strong technical background and deep knowledge of patent law will be an asset to our global patent litigation team.”
