Brian Winterfeldt opens new firm in Washington, DC

IP lawyer Brian Winterfeldt has announced that he has opened his own firm after nearly 20 years of being a trademark attorney.

Winterfeldt IP Group officially opened last Monday, October 16 in Washington, DC and has a team of over 20 professionals including attorneys, paralegals and IP support staff.

Sarah Deutsch, who joins as senior counsel, has worked for a number of high-profile law firms and companies including Mayer Brown and Verizon.

Christy Susman has over 20 years’ experience in the industry and joins as counsel.

In the statement announcing its opening, the company’s areas of expertise are listed as trademark portfolio management and an “array of other IP services”.

“We aim to be the leading global solution for complex IP challenges, from trademark portfolios to digital assets, such as domain names and social media,” stated Winterfeldt.

“Our team is dedicated to learning about each client’s unique needs and to making the process of working with outside counsel as enjoyable as possible.”
