Blank Rome hires Pepper Hamilton litigator
Blank Rome has hired Andrew Fletcher as a partner in its commercial litigation group.
Fletcher joins from Pepper Hamilton, where he led the litigation practice in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. He also served as vice chair of Pepper Hamilton’s international and domestic arbitration practice group.
He focuses his practice on patent and trade secrets disputes, breach of contract, breach of warranty and product liability issues, and tortious interference and fraud matters.
Fletcher has extensive experience in oil and gas industry matters. He has served as lead counsel in patent infringement claims related to water treatment processes and gas-to-liquids technology.
Alan Hoffman, the firm’s chairman and managing partner, said: “Beyond his significant trial experience, Andy’s understanding of the unique issues that oil and gas companies face in Pennsylvania, particularly contract and IP disputes relating to drilling and other aspects of the industry, will complement our energy industry team.”
