Landy Jiang has worked in IP law for more than 20 years and is highly experienced in delivering IP strategies and global portfolio management services.
She specialises in IP protection and litigation across a range of rights, including trademarks, data, copyright, patents, trade secrets, trade names, domain names and unfair competition.
Her wide range of clients includes established multinational corporations and emerging domestic and international enterprises, across industries such as fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), luxury goods, technology and the internet, automotive, entertainment, education and publishing.
Jiang has acted in numerous landmark cases in China’s judicial practice, many of which have been recognised by courts and industry institutions, including “Model IP cases of the year” selected by the Supreme People’s Court. Her work has been repeatedly acknowledged for its significance in shaping Chinese IP jurisprudence.
She has acted for Tesla in a trademark infringement and unfair competition dispute, and advised Universal Music Group and 10 others in a copyright case against Yahoo! China.
Jiang is a founding member of the International Law Association for Artificial Intelligence and serves as an expert in the Hangzhou IP Overseas Dispute Resolution Expert Directory. She is further recognised as a mentor in the Beijing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Intellectual Property Service Mentor Directory.
