Judy He

Judy He is a US intellectual property litigator based in Chicago, with strength in complex patent and technology disputes before the US district courts and US International Trade Commission.

Her career includes prior roles as IP attorney at Brinks Gilson & Lione (2017–2019) and IP litigation attorney at Haynes Boone (2019–2022), before joining Crowell & Moring in 2022,where she was promoted to Counsel in 2023.

He has a strong background in patent litigation and policy-focused IP issues. She has contributed to professional discussions on topics such as confidentiality and IP protection in employment contexts, inequitable conduct and duty of disclosure, and the intersection of Patent Trial and Appeal Board proceedings with district court litigation. She has also participated in events hosted by organisations including the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) and the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA).

He holds leadership positions within the IP community, including President-elect of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC), vice chair of the IPO US Patent Litigation Committee, and regional Illinois co-chair of the American Bar Association Litigation Section’s Judicial Intern Opportunity Program.

He is also actively involved in professional development and mentorship initiatives. She is an alumna of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinder Program (2022) and a participant in the LCLD Fellows Program (2026). She also contributes to pro bono and community initiatives, including volunteering with Legal Prep Charter Academies and participating in the AIPLA Women in IP Law Aon Step Up for Kids Challenge.
