Ece Sarica

Ece Sarica is a dual-qualified solicitor (England & Wales, and Türkiye) serving as Director and Legal Counsel for Great Britain & Ireland (GB&I) at The Coca-Cola Company in London. In this strategic executive role, she oversees legal operations for the GB&I region while managing major asset and partnership deals across Europe. Notably, she served as the primary legal lead on the Coca-Cola x FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign across the UK.

Sarica joined Coca-Cola in 2019, initially acting as general counsel and local ethics officer for the Türkiye region. Her career progressed into a regional role as intellectual property (IP) Counsel for Europe, where she managed the global brand portfolio and strategy for the company’s nutrition category across complex jurisdictions.

Before moving in-house, Sarica built extensive private practice expertise specialising in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and cross-border M&A transactions at international law firms, including DLA Piper, Akol Law, and Paksoy.

An active voice in the legal technology sector, Sarica serves on the AI and Technology Committee of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA), championing the responsible integration of artificial intelligence in corporate workflows. She frequently speaks at major industry events, recently featuring as an expert panellist at the CITMA Spring Conference to discuss the practical impact and efficiency of AI within brand lifecycles and trademark management.
