RGC Jenkins & Co, a patent and trademark specialist, has merged its German department with Maucher, Börjes & Kollegen, based in Freiburg. The new firm is called Maucher Börjes Jenkins.
Felix Rummler, partner of Jenkins, will join Henrich Börjes-Pestalozza as a partner in the new firm. Rummler said: “By this exciting merger, Jenkins expands its reach into the technology-rich ‘three-country triangle’ where Germany, France and Switzerland meet.”
Börjes-Pestalozza said: “With this development, we meet the growing challenges in respect of the acquisition, defence and enforcement of IP rights in Germany and especially abroad. We are convinced that this exciting merger expands our wealth of resources and experience in assisting clients in all questions relating to the protection of IP.”
