New York-based Alexandra Nicholson is national chair of the Media, Entertainment & IP Practice. Nicholson represents leading media and entertainment companies, centering her trademark practice on global brand protection and enforcement, transactions and strategic planning.

The firm has been continuing its expansion across both US coasts, with recent additions including Glenn Gundersen and Gayle Denman, who arrived from Dechert in October 2025. Hal Borden also joined the team as of counsel.

The trio of new arrivals are highly experienced in trademark law and brand protection, with an international client base spanning technology, consumer goods, entertainment, financial services, and food and beverage. Gundersen is known as a thought leader on trademark law, and has advised the owners of some of the world’s most valuable marks on protection, exploitation and enforcement.

Other additions to the team over the past year include Batur Oktay, former global head of IP at Starbucks; and IP partners Maria Anderson and Mauricio Uribe, who focus on IP and technology licensing, and patent and trademark protection.
