UK e-bike startup Forest loses bid for EU trademark

The London-based company, which has partnered with US e-bike company Bird, cannot protect its sign combining the word 'forest' and a depiction of a ‘tree with legs’ as it is “entirely descriptive and devoid of distinctive character”.
