Gregory Schwartz

Gregory Schwartz is a patent attorney at Greenberg Traurig. With a background in chemical engineering, his practice focuses on patent prosecution and strategic legal counsel across public and private sectors. 

In 2015, he started his career in patent prosecution at Billion & Armitage in Minneapolis, where he practiced for five years. He then joined Greenberg Traurig, as an associate in its patent prosecution group.

In 2024, Schartz was promoted to shareholder. An active contributor to professional organisations, Schwartz has held key leadership roles. He served as president of the Minnesota Asian Pacific American Bar Association (MNAPABA) and was a central regional governor for the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA).

A standout achievement includes co-founding the Asian American Adoptee Network, advocating for adoptee representation and rights. 

Schwartz’s D&I efforts extend beyond organisational leadership. He established MNAPABA’s In-house Counsel Network, creating networking opportunities for diverse attorneys. 

He also works with Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, mentoring aspiring legal professionals and connecting law students with career opportunities.
