WilmerHale promotes two to IP partner
Law firm WilmerHale has promoted two lawyers to partner in its intellectual property and IP litigation practices.
Yung-Hoon (Sam) Ha has been appointed in the firm’s IP practice and Omar Khan in the firm’s IP litigation practice. Both are based in New York.
Ha’s practice is focused on high technology patents and he has been involved in numerous patent litigation and US/foreign prosecution work that spans a wide range of technologies, including microprocessors, battery separators and wireless communication devices.
Khan has successfully litigated “bet-the-company” IP matters for companies in the biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, computer hardware and software, telecommunications and financial services industries, according to WilmerHale.
The promotions are effective from January 1, 2017.
