Southeast Asia-based law firm Tilleke & Gibbins has appointed Jay Cohen as partner and director of the firm’s Cambodia operations.
Cohen advises business on a variety of IP, corporate, commercial and compliance matters in Cambodia, including trademark and patent registration.
He mainly focuses his practice on the investment process, from due diligence to negotiating and drafting commercial contracts, and has particular expertise in the energy industry.
Cohen’s arrival follows the retirement of John King, the previous head of the firm’s Cambodia office.
Darani Vachanavuttivong, co-managing partner of Tilleke & Gibbins, said: “We are delighted that he will be leading our Phnom Penh office as we continue to expand our client services in Cambodia and across Southeast Asia.”
