Polsinelli has welcomed Darren Donnelly as a principal in the firm’s IP department.
Donnelly, who joins from Fenwick & West, has more than 20 years of experience in IP litigation and has represented clients before the district courts, the US Court of Appeal for the Federal Circuit, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
Based in the firm’s Silicon Valley office, Donnelly will represent innovation-focussed companies across a range of computing and networking technologies. He will advise clients on patent litigation, acquisitions, and portfolio development, in addition to licensing and enforcement strategies.
Donnelly said: “The firm’s focus on strategic expansion in California, particularly with their IP group, and their strong national presence were determining factors in my decision to move to Polsinelli.”
Fabio Marino, managing partner of the firm’s Silicon Valley office, said Donnelly’s experience will be an “invaluable benefit” to the firm’s clients as well as its “rapidly expanding IP litigation group”.
