Duane Morris LLP has opened a new office in the tech hub of Silicon Valley, hiring an IP litigator as its managing partner.
The office in Palo Alto—the firm’s 24th overall and third in California—brings Duane Morris closer to thousands of hi-tech companies, some of which it represents. Clients in Silicon Valley will benefit from a more efficient and direct service, according to a statement.
IP litigator Karineh Khachatourian will serve as managing partner at the office after joining from K&L Gates LLP. She represents hi-tech clients in northern California in patent and trademark litigation, and advises clients in the IP enforcement field.
