Dickinson Wright adds software specialist in Michigan
Joseph Pytel has joined Dickinson Wright as an of counsel after more than two years at Young Basile.
Pytel, who joins the firm’s Troy office in Michigan, provides counselling on IP matters as well as preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the electrical, computer hardware and software, and mechanical arts fields.
In addition, Pytel offers opinions on patentability and infringement.
Before practising law, Pytel worked as an engineer at technology equipment provider Electronic Data Systems for 13 years before joining Hewlett-Packard as a program manager.
He then worked at law firms Harness, Dickey and Pierce and Dykema before joining Young Basile.
