Cozen O’Connor appoints counsel in Minneapolis

Cozen O’Connor has strengthened its Minneapolis office with the addition of a senior attorney from US law firm Schwegman Lundberg & Woessner.

Patent attorney Vadim Braginsky joins Cozen O’Connor as counsel and will focus his practice on drafting and prosecuting patents.

Braginsky also provides strategic guidance on a range of other IP issues, including clearance, infringement, joint development, licensing, and IP monetisation.

He advises a range of clients in the technology space, including those in the industrial and scientific instrumentation, wireless communications, software, and internet of things sectors.

Kerry McTigue, co-chair of Cozen O’Connor’s IP department, said Braginsky counsels and represents key players “across an array of important industries—from software to automated controls to life sciences”.

Braginsky noted: “In addition to patent concerns, today’s businesses must also consider IP-related antitrust, taxation, international trade issues, negotiated agreements and litigation matters. Cozen O'Connor affords me the legal resources to address all of these issues.”
