Scotland-based Wright, Johnston & Mackenzie has promoted IP technology lawyer Martin O’Neill to partner.
O’Neill, who joined the firm in 2004 as a trainee, works at the intersection of commercial contracts, IP, and technology law. He advises clients on the licensing and protection of IP, as well as e-commerce and data protection matters.
Over his career, O’Neill has represented a range of clients, including small businesses, international companies, and public sector bodies. His industry expertise includes technology, energy, retail, and franchising.
Fraser Gillies, managing partner of the firm, said that O’Neill’s promotion will further strengthen and develop the firm’s commercial and corporate teams.
