Taylor English hires Tata Communications IP head

Taylor English Duma has added Li-Chung Daniel Ho, the former head of IP at telecoms company Tata Communications, as a partner in its IP practice group.

Ho’s practice focuses on technology law, with a particular emphasis on patent and trademark prosecution and litigation. He has managed the patent portfolios of a number of US and foreign companies, and he frequently appears before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

He advises clients in the mechanical, chemical, and software industries on technology licensing and service agreements. Ho also has expertise in performing patent freedom to operate evaluations.

Ho has previously served as senior counsel at IT firm Accenture. Before practising law, he was an engineer at Ford Motor Company.
