Rouse names new Russia head
Rouse has appointed Yana Tsygankova as its new country head in Russia.
Tysgankova has served as a partner-equivalent principal at the firm since 2017, and has been a “core member of Rouse’s Moscow team” since the office opened in 2013, the firm said.
She specialises in IP enforcement and prosecution across industry sectors including alcohol, luxury goods, automobiles, telecommunications, energy, and personal care.
Commenting on the move, Tsygankova said: “I’m delighted to take the role. The Russian IP regime continues to mature and demand for high-quality IP services is extremely strong, from domestic and international clients alike. I look forward to helping the firm seize new growth opportunities and further expanding our client roster of global rights holders.”
She replaces Stuart Adams in what Rouse called a “long-planned transition”. Adams, who has served as deputy chief executive of the firm for 14 years, will return to the London office to “focus on business development and client servicing”.
