Reddie & Grose names new patent partner

London-based firm  Reddie & Grose has promoted Duncan Nevett to partner, effective today, April 1.

Nevett, whose background is in physics, has experience in prosecuting UK and European patent applications.

He previously served as senior associate and before that, as an associate, since joining the firm in 2008.

Nevett also served as in-house counsel for a large multinational corporation in Switzerland from 2012 to 2014.

He has represented clients at the examining division, opposition division and appeals boards of the European Patent Office.

The new partner’s practice deals with a range of sectors, including consumer products, medical devices, smartphones, and software.
