Merchant & Gould adds three IP lawyers to New York office

IP law firm Merchant & Gould has added three IP lawyers, including two partners, to its New York office.

Jonathan Berschadsky and Frank DeLucia both join as partners from Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto.

Bershadsky focuses his practice on patent prosecution and litigation, and is also co-chair of the New York IP Law Association.

DeLucia focuses his practice primarily on patent prosecution and the strategic management of patent portfolios.

He handles patent matters in the electrical, software, mechanical, and business method arts.

“We are excited to bring aboard two experienced, high-end attorneys in our New York office,” said Brian Batzli, CEO and managing director of Merchant & Gould.

“They have hit the ground running and already are working with attorneys and clients across our firm.”

Luciano Ricondo also joins as an associate.

He prepares and prosecutes domestic and foreign patent applications in digital technologies. He will provide support for the office’s prosecution practice.
