Kilpatrick Townsend bolsters patent litigation team
Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton has strengthened its patent litigation team with the addition of a Merchant & Gould partner.
Mansi Shah, who will join the firm’s Silicon Valley office, has more than a decade of experience managing complex patent, trademark, copyright and trade secret litigation.
Shah focuses her practice on developing long-term patent and trademark strategies, counselling clients on strategic use of post-grant proceedings, and analysing IP licence agreements.
She has represented Fortune 500 corporations across technologies such as internet software, wireless communications, and databases.
Jon Michaelson, the Silicon Valley office managing partner, said: “She not only brings a high-profile practice but a tremendous amount of focused energy and enthusiasm. Mansi’s addition represents a strong, strategic addition to our patent litigation capabilities in the Bay Area.”
Shah said: “It is exciting to join Kilpatrick Townsend, a firm recognised worldwide for its IP prowess for nearly 160 years.”
