Three partners from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan have opened a new office for the firm in Boston.
Steven Cherny, Patrick Curran and Sandra Bresnick, who were formerly based in the firm’s New York office, are all IP litigators.
John Quinn, managing partner of the firm, said that Quinn Emanuel had been looking at Boston for a long time.
“We are convinced there is a market for a top tier litigation-only firm that is relatively free of the conflicts which full service firms have. Boston is also a high-tech hotbed and we have one of the best IP litigation practices in the country and many clients in the area,” he said.
