Honigman hires two IP partners

Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn has hired two IP partners to join its expanding Grand Rapids, Michigan office.

Tim Flory, a patent attorney, focuses his practice on the procurement of mechanical, electro-mechanical, process, and design patents.

He is joined by Peter Cummings, who is also a patent attorney.

Cummings focuses on preparing and prosecuting US and foreign patent applications in a range of fields, including automotive control systems, vehicle interior and body components, and consumer electronics.

Since opening its doors last January, the Grand Rapids office has grown to include 17 legal professionals and five staff members.

David Foltyn, chairman and CEO of Honigman, said: “Our growth strategy is working and it is quite eloquent in its simplicity: to constantly strive to provide the highest quality legal work and maximise value to each client.”
