Goldberg Segalla boosts IP practice in Manhattan

Goldberg Segalla has added patent litigators Jason Charkow and Stephanie Mandir to its IP practice in Manhatten.

Both attorneys have experience in patent litigation, multimillion-dollar patent monetisation campaigns, and inter partes reviews (IPRs).

Patent attorney Charkow, who joins the firm as a partner, previously served as a shareholder at BCP Equity, a New York-based company that specialises in litigation financing, diligence and dispute resolution.

With 16 years of experience, Charkow has overseen international patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings, monetisation, licensing, portfolio mining, and diligence for clients.

He has handled patent cases related to telecoms networks and equipment, set-top boxes, electronics, content delivery networks, and internet technologies.

Mandir, who joins the firm as an associate, previously served at IP law firm Maier & Maier.  She focuses her practice on patent litigation, including post-grant proceedings and IPRs before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
