FisherBroyles boosts IP practice with five new patent partners

US law firm FisherBroyles has announced the appointments of five new partners to its patent prosecution team.

The new additions to the firm’s IP practice group are John Eisenhart, Elizabeth Haanes, James Hill, Keats Quinalty and Cara Crowley-Weber.

Eisenhart and Haanes have both joined the firm’s Washington, DC office. Eisenhart’s practice focuses on US and international patent prosecution for computer software, telecommunications, and semiconductor companies, whereas Haanes’ expertise centres on medical technology and life sciences.

Based in FisherBroyles’ Los Angeles office, Hill has experience in patent litigation, strategic counselling, IP due diligence, and licensing in the fields of medical devices, biotechnology, and software.

Quinalty, in Atlanta, has more than 20 years of experience working with patents. His work includes all aspects of patent application preparation and prosecution, and he previously spent time working as a patent examiner at the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Finally, Crowley-Weber has joined FisherBroyles’ Denver office. She advises clients on patent portfolio management and revenue growth based on IP across biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and agriculture industries.

TJ DoVale, managing partner of the firm’s IP practice group, said: “We are thrilled to welcome John, Elizabeth, James, Keats, and Cara to the firm and its IP practice group, which continues to expand and solidify its place among the top IP law groups in the nation.”
