Drinker Biddle & Reath promotes patent specialist

Law firm Drinker Biddle & Reath has promoted nine partners at the firm, including one in its intellectual property practice group.

Carrie Beyer, formerly an associate at the firm, is based in the Chicago office.

She has litigated a range of IP cases and also counsels clients on patent licensing and enforcement.

Beyer is one of six women and three men to be promoted. The partners hail from across the firm’s 12 offices.

Andrew Kassner, chair of the firm, said: “Our new partners have established exceptional legal skills and an utmost commitment to client service.”
